Company switching from cigna to optima. Is that good or bad?

I work for a large level 1 trauma center and they have used cigna for a long time. The insurance has been really good and has been a big factor in me staying put with that hospital but they are all of a sudden changing to optima and not giving us much information other than the cost will go up slightly. Nothing has been posted about it and open enrollment begins very soon. Usually we have plenty of time before open enrollment to review everything but it just seems a little sketchy this year. They mentioned this fairly major change briefly during a town hall meeting after telling us that our annual raise was decreasing by 1 percent this year because of the minimum wage increase which also seems sketchy. The one thing they told us other than the slight cost increase was that vision was no longer included and would be a separate plan which set off red flags in my head. All I know is it’s going to cost more and I have to pay extra for vision that was included in the cigna plan…

Should I be concerned?
