Will getting married cut my wife’s benefits before our baby is born?

So my girlfriend and I are expecting a baby in early January her due date is 1/7/2022 but could be earlier. We were thinking of getting married on paper in a week or two but something popped up in my head about coverage. She’s on a government assisted insurance plan, medi-cal to be exact. Right now her income doesn’t go over the threshold amount but if we were to get married I’m worried that my income will set us over that threshold and they will cut off her insurance right before the baby is born and we will be smacked with an outrageous medical bill that we have no way of paying off. Would this happen? Or would they consider only her income since we are on completely different health plans? If they cut her off her insurance would I be able to use the special enrollment period to add her to my insurance plan in time for the baby to be born? Really trying to avoid a massive bill here.
