Can somebody please explain to me how these deductibles work that you have to meet? I’m only 22 so I’m still under my moms. I have a old hospital bill from last year in collections. The entire amount is like 1,800. I was told that blue cross paid 15,000 and this is my portion which is part of the deductible. Like wtf?! I wish I had Medicaid. You never have to even worry about a bill.
