Hello all,
I recently gained employment with a small brewery in Washington state. I previously had a teamster position with employer offered insurance. I am a full time salary employee at my new job. I was not offered insurance upon being hired. I have never worked for a small business so I am not sure if this is standard. I am 25 and on my Mother’s insurance plan through her employer. My salary is $38,000 a year with expected $7000 in bonuses. What would be my best option for finding insurance for myself? Should my employer have given my paperwork and information on insurance when I was hired? The brewery has less than 10 employees. Any information is appreciated.
