i live in FL state with my mom for years, but is currently unemployed, and also have had no health insurance for many many years thinking ill be okay
my mom works, and buys insurance through the healthcare marketplace for herself
but now that i am feel extremely sick for 1 month and need to go to the doctor to see what is wrong with me…get bloodwork, see an ENT, etc)
so i think i need to buy insurance before seeing a doctor.
do i qualify for to buy insurance through the healthcare gov marketplace if i am unemployed?
would me buying insurance affect my mom’s rates since i am reading vaguely how the healthcare gov marketplace depends on household size and income?
would me applying for insurance require me to have my mom’s income information and all that since we are in the same household?
do i qualify for medicaid?
im so confused about the whole process. any advice would be appreciated
