Forgive me, but I know nothing about insurance.
I have the fepblue basic plan with BCBS through my mom’s job. My diagnosis now is epilepsy and my in-network neurologist recommends an in-patient video eeg (3-5 days). I tried searching on the procedure estimates but can’t find anything. Is there a certain category this would fall under in terms of specialist care or in patient care?
I plan on calling on Monday, but figured I’d ask here for now. As a college student, I’m pretty stressed and anxious about the cost of this.
