We are on a high deductible plan and billing asked me this question when we were checking out at the doctors office. Will this make a difference as to how they will bill me or how much it will cost me?
Is this a weird question to ask? I have never been asked this before. All these questions didn’t occur to me at the time, but when I thought about it, it seemed really weird.
