Now since they have zero income, I’m really trying to get them to apply for Medicaid/Medi-Cal to get health insurance.
I’ve purchased CoveredCA before for myself and they ask for proof of income. I asked my parents if they have any documents to provide proof but they say they don’t. They have “nothing”. They haven’t worked since March 2020 and are currently unemployed.
So how do you prove you don’t have income with no documents? That’s their main concern. They’re also concerned about the enrollment deadline. How do I help them? What other things/documents are needed to get Medi-Cal/Medicaid?
