Okay hi!
So I’m a teacher, that is voluntarily switching to a new district. My previous district called me today and said that my insurance is cancelled retroactively from July 1st of this year. Furthermore, my new school district will provide benefits starting September 1st.
So how should I proceed? Should I get cobra (It’s $1500 a month and I’d have to do it for July and August, so $3000 since cobra doesn’t allow a timelapse).
Any ideas? Please advise!
