Unemployed in Florida – benefits likely to end by late Jan/early Feb – covered by nationwide PPO in December via Cobra
Plan on going to New York for a few months starting in December , 3 or 4 months
Hope to have job by February
Was on the NY site tonight trying to do application, not sure what to upload. If I should upload proof of my Florida unemployment
Are NY plans better than Florida, do they have plans with nationwide provider networks. Florida at least Broward only has EPOs with local providers only?
If I want to apply I have to attest my permanent residence is NY? I dont want to change drivers license yet as I may go back to Florida within 3/4 months.
Really need some advice how to proceed.
I can always keep Cobra but then lose out on the possibility of a subsidy and my deductible is huge.
