Getting a “medically necessary” vasectomy?

I am 24 years old, have no children, and live in the state of Tennessee. I’d prefer to keep my child free status for the rest of my life. My insurance provider (Aetna plus) will pay for the consultation with a urologist (after the small co-pay). They will only pay for the procedure if it is deemed “medically necessary.” What they deem as “medically necessary” seems vague. I fear that, given my age and the fact that I’m not married with children, the urologist not considered this procedure”medically necessary” if they’re willing to conduct it at all. What advice would you give me to tell the urologist during the consultation that this procedure is medically necessary? I’m essentially asking you to coach me on how to talk about this without me getting denied.

I thought that perhaps bringing up the fact that I’m a carrier for schizophrenia (my mom has it), that I have bipolar, and that I’d kill myself if I got someone pregnant that didn’t want an abortion would help steer the consultation into considering it “medically necessary.” Besides that, I don’t think I have another angle. That stuff isn’t a lie, but my main reason is honestly that I just don’t ever want kids. I hate them and I want to live a less expensive uncomplicated life without them. If there is a better subreddit to post this in, lmk
