My (32M) gf (35F) is about 14 weeks pregnant and has learned that the health insurance through Anthem provided by her employer does not include maternity coverage. She has shopped additional coverage but every provider she has spoken with considers pregnancy a pre-existing condition and is very expensive. What the heck do we do?? Buy additional insurance? Pay full price with financial aid? Marry her and put her on my work insurance??
