So I had to get an abdominal MRI done in December 2020. I called my insurance, Horizon, to verify coverage. The employee told me it was 100% covered. Then I checked their portal on their website, and it says I owe $0.00.
However, today I find a bill from the hospital I had the MRI done at for $500+. I tried to call them, but it was already after hours.
I’m kind of panicking over this right now. I was assured this was not going to incur me any costs… I have no idea why I am being charged. The bill itself doesn’t say what it’s for specifically, just that it’s for the MRI.
What do I do now?
