I need to purchase my own health insurance in DC that my employer will reimburse me for. The reimbursement is pretty good (I think) – $500/mo + $80/mo for vision and dental. The problem is I have literally no idea how to go about getting a plan!
Does anybody have any suggestions between KP and BCBS? Those are the two I’ve researched, but open to others.
I’m a non-US citizen in my late 20s with no major health concerns at the moment – my only consideration is accessing therapy (CBT or DBT) on a regular basis and having some coverage if I travel internationally.
