Is there such a thing as temporary health insurance? My mom (she is NOT a US citizen) is visiting me for about 5 months and I want to pay for a health insurance plan from day one. I know that travel insurance is an option but they usually reimburse you so if there’s a serious urgency you may need to pay a large amount of money at the very beginning…I want something that can provide as much coverage as possible, no matter if I have to pay a high fee per month.
