Need advice on how to get the best health insurance for my situation.
I am technically a resident of NYS – however I don’t live there. My car is registered there/license/car insurance etc. I’m hoping to switch my license and registration and all that to RI in the spring.
I live half the year in RI, and half the year in UT. Neither of my jobs offer health insurance because they are seasonal. If I get insurance through one state, can I use it in the other? I realize that I really need an insurance plan in case of a major accident or health issue, so I’m looking to get this done in the upcoming open enrollment period.
Can anyone recommend a specific plan or company that could insure me without it costing an arm and a leg?
TIA!
