HELP!!! Claim Appeal Expert Advice NEEDED!

Ok, this is totally my fault but I let my health insurance go unpaid for two months, and only had a 31 day grace period. I called and paid the entire amount of the unpaid months, paid April and May in advance, and went through the entire process of reinstating the plan. I had four appointments all together in February and March altogether, that I am being told the claims will be denied for any coverage, even though I’ve now paid premiums for those months. Customer support shared that paying for coverage only allows me to continue my insurance plan, but won’t cover the claims in the months that I “wasn’t covered” (February and March). She also shared that she would send me an appeal claim form, and I desperately need to know what I can possibly say to come up with an excusable reason for not having made the payments on time. I’m pregnant and had a very expensive test done in February!!! Help!! 🥺🥺🥺
