[California]
I’ve been suffering from sleep apnea and already had major, but unsuccessful treatments in the past.
I’m trying to see an specialist in university which is a “tertiary level of care” and my medi-cal Caloptima keeps denying me even though i pretty much followed all their steps and requirements. Anyhow I pretty much gave up in that route at this point.
Is it possible for me to buy a private health insurance at this point, with this “pre existing condition” and get my condition treated asap?
I hear that under affordable care act that the insurance companies can no longer deny patients with the conditions.
Any suggestions at this point? Thank you.
