Help me choose health insurance. Likely to have knee surgery in 2022.

For Indiana. Male. 34. Healthy but I plan on having a knee surgery done this year as I can’t overload it with weight at the gym. Other than that, I likely will not need to visit the doctor.

My current plan is Ambetter Balanced Care 11. Deductible of $3300, and Out of pocket max $6600. $18/$20/$50 for generic drugs, pcp visit, and specialist vist. ER is 40% Coinsurance after deductible.

Should I maybe look into a $0 deductible plan since I’m pretty sure to have surgery this year?

Other brands I could get are Ascension, and Anthem. I know nothing about the reputations of any of them. I’ve had Ambetter for several years and have had a good experience.

I am trying to double check with experts here just to be sure I’m not missing anything. I understand all of the basic concepts of health insurance. But each plan does have a lot of fine print. Thank you.
