Hello, apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question, but I would appreciate any help.
My fiancé has gone to the USA for four months for work purposes on a J-1 visa. Shortly after arriving she found out she is pregnant. This was a surprise for us, but a welcome one. Unfortunately the insurance her company provided does not cover any pregnancy-related costs, and they cannot assist any further.
We can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on doctors visits and so would greatly appreciate any advice, or suggestions.
She is based in Maryland.
