Help needed to understand how to publish a course (in HTML) and hyperlink to multiple lesson projects

I have just started using Captivate 2019 and have a huge Flash based course I had to convert to HTML. There are over 1,000 screens between all the lesson modules. I had no problem in Flash or even using Dreamweaver, but Captivate has me baffled. The requirement is to be able to launch and run the course from a server and also on a USB drive.

I assume that I need to create all the projects and publish them to separate folders that each have a index.html file.

I would also like to be able to hyperlink from a slide in one folder to a slide in another folder.

Is there an example somewhere that I can look at? I see lots of examples with swf files using the Aggregator but I have to use HTML since swfs will no longer run soon.

Thanks in advance for your support. I am already a Captivate fan.
