I haven’t been insured in 22 years. I signed up with my employer recentely, benefits go into effect 11/1/21. Monday morning had to go to er for a bad case of sciatica. I’ll likely need MRI, steroids ect… looks like. My policy has hospital Indemnity included.
Do I need to wait until Monday 11/1 to get a doctor visit lined up? I can barely walk, eat or sleep so I need treatment soon. I was prescribed steroids and muscle relaxers for next couple day’s.
Any help or tips, I have no idea what to do next. My pain is unbearable and not thinking real clear. 55/m Policy is a ppo with a large company. 33020 35k/yr, have the most expensive insurance policy was offered.
