Hi, quick and simple question.
I 24M in Philadelphia started radiation therapy and while in the office I asked for the NPI number to make sure I was in network. They gave me the number and I confirmed it was in network.
Now I was just billed $43,000 under a different facility NPI and that one was out of network now I am billed my max out of pocket for it of $15,700.
Am I liable to pay this since they gave me an incorrect NPI number after I specifically asked for it?
