How am I supposed to pay before deductibles?

So, I was shopping for medical insurance but it says that the deductibles are like 6000-7000. I mean, I need medical appointments. How do I pay out of pocket all of that in the meantime? What’s the point of applying for insurance if I won’t have benefits until 8-10 months, when the deductibles have been met?

Also, I have advanced premium tax credit. Will I be able to use that as a discount to help pay for appointments before deductibles? Because I can’t afford paying $200 for appointments or even worse, $120 montly for insurance that can’t even be used until many months later.
