I’m (F18) from Connecticut and I’m going to college in Massachusetts this coming fall. My family and I are on our home state’s medicaid HUSKY health. My college offers a health insurance waiver but I soon realized they don’t accept medicaid as a replacement. And I’d rather not go on the university’s health plan because it costs $1000 per semester and I’m trying to save on tuition. Plus I see a naturopath back home who I really love seeing. Is it at all possible to stay under HUSKY health while going to school in Massachusetts? I’m totally willing to go back home for doctor visits. I see a primary care, naturopath, and a physical therapist– that’s it. Thank you.
