If a 21 year old patient uses their parent’s health insurance to pay for, say hypothetically, a reproductive health appointment with Dr. Frank N. Furter, a sexual health specialist employed by the Gay Health Clinic for Gay People, how much of that information would show up on an EOB or other documents accessible by the primary policy holders? Is there any way to prevent this information from being released?
I’m really sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m very new to having to handle this sort of stuff by myself.
