I (21f)just moved out of my moms place to a different state , I am still covered under her insurance (Florida blue) but now that I’m in a different state (North Carolina) no doctors take this insurance up here.
I moved in with my boyfriend , maybe I could go under his plan? But I don’t want to burden him with more insurance cost.
My mom mentioned something about Medicade but I’m not sure how that could help me.
At the moment I’m unemployed, 300 dollars in my bank account but too scared to go without health insurance.
My questions are
Could I even get insurance this time of the year? Can I somehow get insurance at all since I don’t have a job? If I can how can I go about getting it? If I can’t what am I supposed to do?
