I’m trying to figure out if my current insurance is ACA-complaint but I’m having a hard time figuring out if it is since no one in my family is familiar with health insurance in the US. I have a PDF of a brochure of my current plan and I’ve been comparing the benefits listed there and the benefits of Marketplace plans by Ctrl+F’ing keywords and seeing if they show up. For example, I tried searching for ‘rehab’ in the brochure (because ‘rehabilitative and habilitative services’ are part of the 10 essential benefits that ACA-compliant plans must provide) but no results showed up. Does this mean that my plan is non-ACA-compliant?
If it is relevant, I picked up my current plan from ISO insurance and it had no enrollment period, I was able to buy a plan anytime and buy coverage for any duration longer than 3 months.
