HSA with secondary insurance

Hi there, I recently started a new job they requires you enroll in their insurance, that they cover the premiums for. There are two options, one that includes an HRA and one that includes an HSA. Honestly, neither are fantastic, but I was going to do the HSA to have more flexibility with the $1800 a year they put into it.

However, I also have secondary insurance through my husband’s plan. It has an individual deductible of $500 a year, I believe. Does this make me ineligible for having an HSA account? And if I already signed up for it and got a prorated amount for the rest of the year…. Did I just make things very difficult for myself?

Appreciate any help you may be. Thanks!

Edit – I think I picked the wrong flair. Question is regarding employer plans not COBRA.
