So I’ve finally decided to pull the trigger and get health insurance for myself during this next round of open enrollment. I haven’t had insurance in about 10 years. My children have been covered under my ex’s MD state plan for a long time (Priority Parters). I’m just wondering if I go to enroll, will Maryland make me cover my children too? My ex has sole physical custody while we have joint legal custody. I’m not trying to get out of paying for my children’s health insurance I pay child support every week and get them every other weekend. I’m just trying to be prepared. Any advice would be great. I’m a 35 yo male.
