I still have almost all of my deductible to pay for the year, and I had to visit a walk-in urgent care today. This particular urgent care was not in-network as I was away from my home area. Based on previous urgent care experience I know bills usually run at least a few hundred dollars, however when I walked up to the counter on my way out, the receptionist said I was all set.
I’m new to being on my own insurance, and I’m worried about missing out on a big bill and it affecting my credit. Is this something to worry about? The visit was just a few hours ago and it hasn’t showed up as a claim yet. Would I need to wait for that to happen before thinking about all this?
