Insurance is asking for a detailed description of incident after getting stitches, need some advice.

Back in October I was helping my buddy shingle his grandma’s garage on a weekend and ended up cutting my leg with a circular saw. I needed some stitches so I went to the hospital where the moment I mentioned that I was a union roofer by trade, they started asking a bunch of questions as to how it happened, where it happened and so on. I figured this was so that they could make it into a workman’s comp claim, so I was vague in my answer of “I just cut my leg with a saw.” I guess that wasn’t a good enough answer for my provider, because I got a letter stating that they needed me to further explain what happened. I talked to my parents about it and they said that if I tell them too much information that they would go after my buddys grandma’s homeowners insurance, which I would rather not have happen. I called the number to give a better explanation while still being somewhat vague, so when they asked I just said that “I was cutting some wood and the saw slipped off the end of the board, cutting my leg.” The person on the phone seemed pleased with my answer, but asked for a callback number in case there are any further questions after she re-submits the claim. I’m anticipating a phone call and would like to be prepared in that case, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
