Is it possible to move to a different state, but keep the address of the old one until I find new insurance?

So this might be a weird question.

Basically I’m in the process of possibly moving to a different state. I need insurance basically for one type of medicine that’s over $1000 out of pocket that I can’t go without.

I’m just wondering if it’s possible to move to the other state while still having all my I guess legal residency say I’m still at the old one. That way I wouldn’t actually lose insurance except for maybe a few weeks if at all.

I know people that live in vehicles do something similar to this.
