Is this a good plan? need help

Hello all,

I was recently hired at a large company (25,000+ employees internationally) as a union worker. Im 22 and my whole life I’ve been covered under my mother’s medicaid policy in NY, but as im moving out of the house I am no longer covered, I’ve been told.

I have the option of 3 plans (with either Aetna or Anthem so 6 total),

plan 1 – $1000 deductible, 20% coinsurance after,$4500 OOPL, $170/month premium

plan 2 – $3000 deductible, 30% coinsurance after, $6000 OOPL, $130/month premium, HSA elligible

plan 3 – $6000 deductible, 40% coinsurance after, $6,900 OOPL, $0/month premium, HSA elligible

Which one should I choose? Are any of them good?

I make $18/hr, about $1,200/month after taxes and rent/utilities as it stands now.

I’ll add that all of these plans have an additional $150/month tobacco surcharge, for smoking e-cigarettes. Should this be a flat rate? Why would this not scale with wage?

Thank you so much.
