Labwork copay

Hi everyone not sure if anyone is able to help me here, back in July I mentioned to my OBGYN my husband and I were ready to start trying for another baby and he ordered some blood work (genetic testing) when I go to labcorp I’m told that I might be responsible for a copay of 346 dlls so I called my insurance to confirm they cover it. The representative I spoke to (blue cross blue shield federal employee program) said that as long as we were in network which we were with labcorp they cover all the blood work then the doctor ordered my husband to get tested as well because of my tests results, the doctors office gave him an order and it was a different company called Natera that came to our home and drew his blood and he had no copay or anything then a month ago I get a notice from labcorp that not only they denied some of the charges but they charge my credit card for 346 dlls. I called my insurance back and they informed me that they needed a letter of medical necessity from my doctor to “review” the claim again and now they say that the copay is accurate when I was told that I didn’t have copays as long as we were in network. What I don’t understand is why I have a copay of 346 dlls and they need a letter of medical necessity to cover the genetic testing which is 1200 with labcorp but they covered everything for the same testing with another company? Is there anything I can do about this?. I’m sorry for my spelling English is not my first language. Edit forgot to add the state I’m in NJ
