Loosing insurance next year

I loose the insurance I currently have through my dad later next year. I plan on switching to a medical sharing plan. Unfortunately, they only cover pregnancy if you conceive a month after you join one of their plans.

This means I would need to stop trying to conceive from early next year to a month after I switch. My husband and I would loose a whole year of trying to conceive. This is really not ideal. We’ve been trying for over a year now. On top of this, I had a pregnancy loss that caused me to loose a fallopian tube. Because of this, I only am able to conceive 6/12 cycles every year. I could switch to the medical sharing plan sooner but that would mean we would loose hundreds of dollars we could have otherwise save. We could make this work financially, but after meeting my deductible every year for the last 5 years, saving that money would be preferable.

My question is, is there anything I’m missing? Do we have any other options aside from the two I already mentioned (to stop trying or sign up for the other plan early). Is there anything I don’t know about that could make this situation suck less?

(I’m in Ohio, if that helps)
