lost coverage 2 days before important medical test

(sorry, unsure if i chose the correct flair) so, i’ve been on my mother’s insurance for years on an ‘away from home’ plan as a university student living in a different state from my family. yesterday, i found out i was being booted off the plan because i’ve graduated, and automatically transferred to medicaid in my mom’s state (where i don’t live.) i’m disabled and on 8+ different prescriptions to get by. on the 10th i was supposed to have an important medical test i’ve been fighting to get for years, that could significantly improve my quality of life. i’m absolutely crushed. i’m enrolling in a plan for 2022 asap, but i don’t know how i’m going to pay for my medicine until it kicks in, and i hate to have to put off this important test for more months. is there a way to get a ‘stop gap’ insurance plan just to cover me in the interim? what are my options?
