To make a long story short we no longer have insurance and are wondering what are the options for a small family? I thought it was cobra but looking at the numbers our former employer gave us 7k and cobra will cost almost 4x that… we didn’t know that, and a surprise bill of 2k plus a month is a very un welcome surprise.
Frankly I don’t even know where to start other than here.
(Fwiw, lost job same month gave birth. So insurance is important.)
