So I tried to enroll in Medicaid through the marketplace and it said I was supposed to receive a notice if I was approved or denied. Well I filled out the app through healthcare.gov a month and a half ago. So I started a new application to get on something because the deadline was approaching and have yet to receive a denial from Medicaid. On healthcare.gov it asks if I have ever received an official denial from Medicaid but I haven’t! If I say no it takes me right back to the option where it’ll send a notice to Medicaid. My question is, is it insurance fraud if I say “yes I have received a denial?” I need to get on insurance and Medicaid is not responding to me.
