Married dependent in the state of Florida

I am 23 and have been on my father’s Avmed health insurance since I was young. It is not a plan through his employer as he is the business owner. I got married back in March of 2020 and now the insurance company seems to have an issue according to my dad. I’ve been removed by him from the plan at his discretion according to a phone call I received in vain from avmeds end. I asked the person on the other end if me being married has any affect of me being a dependant and she said no. Florida law leaves it very ambiguous “Generally, you can join a parent’s plan and stay on until you turn 26 even if you: Get married, have or adopt a child, start or leave school, live in or out of your parent’s home, aren’t claimed as a tax dependent, turn down an offer of job-based coverage”. The phone call I had with avmed supported that information. Though Florida 627.6562 allows for dependent children up to 25, who live with their parent or are a student, and up to 30 years old, who are also unmarried and have no dependent child of their own, to remain on their parents’ insurance. Avmed specifies age 26 and below and extended coverage 26-30 for unmarried children.

TLDR: Live in Florida 23 non student and married, was on dad’s independent health insurance plan and he removed me from it under the terms of me being married and I can not be on his plan LEGALLY due to my status. Wondering if that is legitimate or him being deceitful. Thank you!
