My wife and I are hoping to try for a baby in this upcoming year. I am a full time student, and have health insurance through the school. My wife is still on her parents insurance. As a dependent, her current insurance will cover pre-natal care, but does not cover delivery. My wife could get insurance through her workplace, but we unfortunately just missed the open enrollment period.
Is there any better solution for us? I looked into short term insurance plans, but they don’t cover pregnancy/maternity.
