Hello, I have a few questions about Medi-Cal insurance.
I (19 y/o) currently have Medi-Cal because of my parents. However, I am expected to get it removed in September. Considering I am a college student, would my best option be to get my school insurance (UC SHIP), or are there any other ways I can get insurance independently? My only issue with UC SHIP is that it is pretty expensive and I am not on my school campus, and at the moment is not something I can really afford myself.
Also, I was hoping to get mental health services with Medi-Cal, but considering I am getting it removed soon, should I just wait until I have secured another insurance?
