My wife and I are looking to relocate out of state to be closer to family. I’d like to stay with my current employer, and they’d likely allow me to work remotely. Possible hang up is it’s a small company (60 employees) and our current insurance is a HMO plan with blue shield of CA. I’ve reviewed our destination’s healthcare exchange and for my family (me, wife, & 3 yr old son on the spectrum) prices are astronomical for anything resembling coverage similar to our current plan. Any advice/suggestions would be useful, looking to get our ducks in a row.
