My mom is on Medicare. How long does it take to change Part B insurance provider? She was just diagnosed with cancer. She has Humana for her part b and like nobody around us accepts humana. We want to switch to geisinger. How long would that process take?

She’s currently doing radiation nearby, but for the next treatments, chemo, we’ll have to drive an hour away. Would it be wise to switch during this process or wait?
