Need help figuring out health insurance during an interstate move

Hi all,

My husband and I have been on his employer’s health insurance and will be until his last day of 12/18. We then have about two weeks left in our current state (Colorado) before we leave for a month long stay in Oregon before finally settling in either Oregon or Washington and finding jobs and getting new employer health insurance.

I’m a bit lost on how to find health insurance to cover us during this move. We will not be working or making money during our month in Oregon, so I’ve explored medicaid but one issue is that our income for 2020 is good in case that changes anything, and we’re also not arriving there until early January and are staying at an airbnb (not sure if I should be using that as our address when applying). Can anyone shed some light on the best way to go about obtaining health insurance to cover two, possibly three states? I understand we’d need several insurance changes.

In case it changes anything we’ve been trying to start a family though I’m definitely hesitant to become pregnant without a firm health insurance plan set up. Thank you so much!
