Need input on a surgery my insurance approved but I have to pay $3,800 up front?

So I have a surgery that was approved by insurance that will run me $15,235.20 total. My insurance plan has a massive $6,500 deductible and I never use it so I still have $6,000 of my deductible to meet. The center doing my surgery is requiring $3,835.92 up front prior to the surgery. I’ll never be able to come up with that amount so am I just screwed? TIA for any help on this, I’m fairly new to having my own insurance so I apologize if this post seems ignorant, because I am 😅
