New job, may accept benefits, will I lose my Medi-Cal insurance?

Hi there! I’m a 25 year old who just recently got a pretty decent job. I may be making $20 an hour or $17 an hour with benefits. Nobody in my family has fancy insurance or insurance through work, we’re all poor and have Medi-Cal and I’ve had that insurance my entire life. It’s helped me whenever I’ve been sick and I am on medication so I can’t go without insurance. I’m still living at home and my mom (we’re on the same plan or whatever) is still in the same income bracket. If I deny benefits and work 60 hrs/ pay period while making $20, will I lose my Medi-Cal? I cannot afford to make $17 while still having to pay copays and stuff if I go to the doctor (I’m accident prone.) I’m desperately trying to save every penny I can save because I may soon enter a very expensive internship program that’s a year long and unpaid in order to get into my career of study. Anyone have any advice?
