New to health insurance and looking for advice

So I’ve been uninsured for about a year after getting out of college but I’d like to be able to go to the doctor without getting financially destroyed. I enrolled on healthcare.gov but my income is a bit higher than it should be. I am working in a seasonal position currently where I’ve only been paid twice and I don’t know if I’ll be brought back after Christmas.

All of the options they’ve given me seem to be wildly expensive considering my income. The cheapest non-catastrophic coverage is $294/month with an $8550 deductible. I don’t understand how i am supposed to get healthcare coverage if it is this expensive. Could someone help me with alternatives or if I’m doing something wrong on the website?
