Newby provider here – question about selectively opting out of networks.

I have gone down hours long rabbit hole phone calls/customer service flows trying to connect with someone who can help me with this or tell me if it is even possible and am frustrated to the point of tears. Hope this is an okay post.

I have a patient I absolutely adore who has a GEHA Medicare plan which is administered by Aetna in the state where I live. Is there a way to opt out of all Aetna networks aside from this one? Their reimbursement rates are brutal (as in, operating at a loss). Even Medicaid pays better than Aetna in my state. It would break my heart to stop treating this patient (out of network their coinsurance would double), but Aetna is killing me.

Any help or insight would be desperately appreciated! Thanks for your time.
