Newly Self-Employed

I became self employed in the last month and have no idea how much money I will make next year. My wife stays at home with our kids. Previously, our healthcare was through our jobs. When filling out the marketplace application, it asked about expected income next year. The answer to that question is pretty unclear at this time. My projected income for December 2020 is negative based on startup costs and not realizing any profits from my work until (likely) after the new year. Is this a situation where we should be applying for Medicaid? Realistically, right now we would qualify, but 6 months down the road our situation could be completely different. Any advice or direction is appreciated.

EDIT: Live and work in Michigan.
